Interior

Below deck, Wally Vantanera feels the way she looks — clean, considered, and full of light. Large windows flood the saloon with natural daylight. Carbon details meet soft furnishings. Nothing shouts. Everything works. Settle in for a long lunch at the dining table or sink into the seating after a day on the water. No clutter. No compromise. Just a space designed to feel like yours from the moment you step down.

The Story 01/02

Wally Vantanera

A Wally is not just a yacht. It's a statement. Since 1994, Luca Bassani's yard has been building boats that break conventions — carbon fibre before anyone else dared, push-button sail handling before anyone thought it possible, design so clean it influenced architecture far beyond the marine world. Wally doesn't follow rules. They set them.

Vantanera is one of them. Almost 29 metres, drawn by German Frers, built with a carbon-fibre hull that cuts through the water the way only a Wally can — fast, silent, effortless. Originally launched in 2003, refitted in 2008 and again in 2025, she has been meticulously maintained and continuously upgraded. Southern Spars mast and boom. ECsix carbon rigging. Full North Sails inventory for both racing and cruising. The latest navigation and electronics. She's not a museum piece. She's alive, current, and ready.

The Story 02/02

Wally Vantanera

But the spec sheet isn't the point. The point is what happens when you're on board.

Mornings in an empty bay, coffee on deck, the water still enough to mirror the sky. Afternoons under sail with the coastline sliding by — fast enough to feel the boat work, slow enough to be present in every moment. Evenings where the light turns gold and dinner stretches as long as the conversation. Your kids at the helm. Your partner reading on the bow. Your grandfather watching all of it with the kind of smile that doesn't need words.

Vantanera is as thrilling for experienced sailors as she is welcoming for those who've never touched a sheet. The professional crew handles everything — or hands you the wheel if you want it. Race her in the Mediterranean's most prestigious regattas or cruise her through the Greek islands at your own pace. She does both with the same elegance.

This is a boat with soul. Designed to perform. Built to last. And shaped around the kind of time that stays with you — unhurried, unfiltered, and entirely yours.
