Kora Sailing
Kora is not a sailing company. It's a door to the sea — for those willing to step through it. On a race boat that demands everything you've got, or aboard a yacht where luxury meets the horizon and every moment has depth. No matter which boat — this is real sailing. Wind in the sails, salt on your skin, miles under the hull. Just done in a way you won't find anywhere else. The ocean is not a backdrop here. It gets under your skin and stays there.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the booking and onboarding work?
The booking process for a single berth trip looks like any other booking process. You choose what you want and do the checkout process.

After the confirmation, we will get in touch with you via e-mail until 1-2 weeks to departure.
1-2 weeks before the departure we normally set up a WhatsApp group chat with all guests, do have a faster an easier communication. You will find the details about meeting points, small changes in there.

Guest Arrival day: You will get the meeting point and meeting point via the communication channels, mail or message. After settling in, you will get a proper yacht instruction including safety, functioning of the yacht, crew and guest spaces, food, toilet and everything else you need to feel „home“.
If you are on a cruise or transfer, you will, as the weather allows, leave for the next harbor the same day. For regattas we do 2-3 sessions of 3-4 hours before the start of the regatta. Regatta starts can be quite hectic and everybody should know what is going to happen.

Arrival at destination: Normally after a crew-breakfast, -lunch or -dinner, depending on the time of arrival everybody should get her/his stuff together and is free to leave. Sometimes the arrival also includes „one or two“ beers. On arrival day we normally have plenty of time, so no need to stress. Just make sure you don’t forget anything on board and sock in the feeling of the yacht.

After a few days you will probably feel the need to repeat this experience, so just feel free to repeat the process and bring some friends.
Charter Agreement
Each participant is responsible for their own travel arrangements, accommodation, and meals. The crew consists of professional sailors from our team who have expertise in the VO65 and will provide instruction on the boat, as well as international professional sailors and some clients. The entire crew will be divided into shifts at the beginning, so sleeping and sailing on deck will be done in shifts. Life jackets with AIS transponders are available on board.

We would like to reiterate that we are powerless against unforeseen circumstances. In the event of serious damage to the ship or weather forecasts that make it impossible for us to set sail (danger to people and ship), we cannot refund the costs of missed flights, transfers, or regattas. We recommend allowing at least one extra day for your return journey. Furthermore, we advise taking out travel cancellation insurance, as short-notice changes can occur during these uncertain times.

The catering (organized by us), marina mooring fee and diesel (i.e. all onboard expenses) are already included in the ticket price.

Alcohol is strictly prohibited on board.

When entering or transiting through other countries, please note that you may need visas, ESTA, residence permits, medical certificates, etc.

Please note: Changes and postponements may occur. Therefore, we ask you to wait to book accommodations, flights, etc., until you receive final confirmation from us, so that cancellations and postponements can be avoided.
