Interior & Accommodation
Let's be honest — you're not here for the interior. Sisi's below deck is functional, compact, and built for one purpose: keeping a crew alive and racing across oceans. Pipe berths line both sides. A small nav station. A basic galley. One head with a curtain for privacy. Everything is stripped back, bolted down, and designed to survive a Southern Ocean knockdown.
It's loud. It's wet. It moves. And after a few watches, it starts to feel like home — the kind of home where you sleep in your thermals and wake up to someone grinding a winch two feet above your head.
No marble. No mood lighting. No apologies.

The Volvo Ocean 65 was born from a simple idea: make offshore racing accessible again. The Open 70 class was spectacular but unsustainable — budgets spiralling, fleets shrinking. The answer was one-design. Same boat. Same rules. Closer racing. Farr Yacht Design drew the lines. What they created was only 2.7% slower than the Open 70, but dramatically tougher, safer, and built to take the kind of punishment the Southern Ocean hands out without asking. The VO65 still holds the 24-hour distance record in the Volvo Ocean Race. That's not nostalgia — that's engineering.
Sisi is hull number four. She first raced as Team Alvimedica, then as Vestas 11th Hour Racing — two full Ocean Race campaigns, tens of thousands of miles across every condition the sea has to offer. Under her current ownership, she competed in The Ocean Race Europe 2021 and The Ocean Race 2023. The miles are real. The scars are real. The pedigree is earned, not printed on a brochure.
But the numbers aren't why people come back.
They come back because of what happens at 3am when the watch changes and the stars are closer than the nearest coast. Because of the silence after a storm, when the boat settles and you realise you just sailed through something most people will never experience. Because of the moment you take the helm for the first time and feel 20 tonnes of race boat respond to your hands.
Sisi strips everything away. No phone signal. No schedule. No comfort to hide behind. What's left is the wind, the water, the crew next to you, and a rhythm that takes a day to resist and a lifetime to forget. You stand watches. You grind winches. You learn to sleep in four-hour fragments and eat freeze-dried meals that somehow taste better than anything at home. You discover muscles you didn't know you had and a patience you didn't think you owned.
It's hard. It's uncomfortable. It's the most alive you've felt in years.
Sisi is maintained in race-ready condition — A4 gennaker, full sail inventory, competitive under IRC, presented with a complete support package. She races the Mediterranean's biggest regattas, crosses oceans, and runs offshore passages that build serious miles and serious sailors.
But she also does something quieter. She gives you the space to step out of the life you've built and into the one you've been missing. The one where the horizon is the only deadline, where your crew becomes your family, and where the person you are on land finally meets the person you are at sea.
That's Sisi. Raw sailing. Real you.
