New York Meets the Aegean - Aime Leon Dore X Cyclades Cup

Aime Leon Dore x Cyclades Cup

New York Premium Streetwear - Off-Shore Style

Leave it to ALD to make a superyacht regatta look this good.

For the Cyclades Cup, the New York label brought their world to ours — Aegean edition. The yacht was branded. The crew was dressed. And somewhere between the start gun and the finish line off Antiparos, downtown New York and the Greek islands found out they have more in common than you'd think.

The recaps hit the feed. The comments did the rest.

This is what sailing looks like when the right people show up.

Forge connections that go beyond business.

There are experiences that bring people together. And then there are experiences that change how a group of people sees each other.

For the Cyclades Cup, we had the honour of welcoming Aimé Leon Dore on board Vantanera. The New York label — known for turning downtown street culture into something quietly refined — came to the Aegean for a week of racing, sailing, and everything in between. The yacht was dressed for the occasion. So was the crew.

What happened on the water was exactly what happens when you take the right people out of their usual environment and hand them something real. A start line. A countdown. 30 knots and a fleet of superyachts racing through some of the most beautiful waters in the world. People who arrived as guests left as crew. That shift — from spectator to participant — is what offshore sailing does to people. And it doesn't happen anywhere else quite like this.

The recap was published on Aimé Leon Dore's channels. It was shared widely. Not because it was a campaign — but because it was genuine.

At the helm

Turns Out, Teddy Santis Can Sail.

Teddy Santis — the founder and creative director of Aimé Leon Dore — spent time at the helm of Vantanera during the regatta. No prior sailing experience. No hesitation either.

There's something telling about that. The same instinct that built one of New York's most respected labels — the eye for detail, the feel for the right moment, the ability to read a room — translates surprisingly well to reading the wind. Santis took the wheel and found his footing faster than most people do on their first time offshore.

Some people just have it.

The Cyclades Cup confirmed what we've always believed: the ocean doesn't care where you're from or what you do on land. It just asks whether you're paying attention.

Teddy was.

For Brands and companies

A door opener to an otherwise inaccessible world.

Vantanera is available for corporate experiences — and what happened with Aimé Leon Dore is a good illustration of what that can look like at its best.

Invite your clients, partners, or team on board for a regatta, a sailing week, or a private charter. The yacht can be subtly branded for the occasion. More importantly, the experience itself does something that a dinner or a conference never quite manages: it creates a shared story. People go aboard as guests and come back as a group that achieved something together.

The ocean has a way of doing that.
